My experience using R-Studio in restoring data or files especially the files in the form of text is quite good, but the files in the form of images, audio and video software has not been able to restore files in perfect & intact. Before using this software of course we have to install it into our computer, as for the way he is:
1. Double-click the installation file R-STUDIO NTFS.EXE (For storage media with NTFS-based file system, usually the hard drive) or R-STUDIO FAT.EXE (for storage media with FAT-based file system, usually flash)
2. In the SETUP window, select YES to begin the installation process
3. It will then open the setup wizard window, select NEXT
4. Then the license agreement sheet appears, select YES
5. Then select NEXT as much as 3x
6. Click the INSTALL button, wait until the installation is complete
7. Once completed then please check the box provided and click the FINISH button.
8. It will show a registration window R-STUDIO, please you the contents of the Name and Company wish.
9. In the Registration Key fill in the serial number we can see in the text file R-STUDIO NTFS Serial.txt or R-STUDIO FAT Serial.txt.
10. Click OK, then R-STUDIO fully installed and ready to wear
After R-STUDIO installed into the computer, now we try to use it, the steps are:
1. If the window is R-STUDIO not appear you can open it from START> PROGRAMS> R-STUDIO NTFS / FAT> R-STUDIO NTFS / FAT
2. In general, the display software is divided into 3 parts, namely: the left (containing the name of the hard drive or flash), right (contains detailed information on the hard drive or flash) and bottom (containing the information status of hard disk or flash)
3. To begin the process of restoring data please double click the name of your flash drive or hard disk, which is on the left side of the display software (eg C:) and wait until the scanning process is completed the file
4. After we finish the hard disk or flash in the scan it will show some common folders and some folders on the red cross. The folders on the red cross means that folder is a folder that has been erased from the hard disk or flash, while a folder that is not in the red cross is a folder that still exist in the hard disk or flash.
5. Now please you are looking for a file name will you return it within the folders that the red cross by giving checklist in front of the file name.
6. Be careful in choosing the file, because of the possibility of a virus that has been erased from the hard disk or flash that you can be active again, then choose the file carefully and see also the extension of the file name, eg Ms.Word file with the name of the exercise, then the extension must be *. doc (latihan.doc) is not the *. exe (latihan.exe) or other
7. After all files terceklist, please click the menu FILE> RECOVER
8. Specify the location of the file return by clicking the button ">" in the right column OUTPUT FOLDER, such as My Documents
9. Click the OK button
10. After the restore process is complete, please open the folder you selected earlier as a place to return the file, in this example My Documents.
